Aaron R. Kavli

Aaron R. Kavli is a long time Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan, including movies, literature, and gaming (tabletop and video). This love for sci-fi led him to join the U.S. Navy for six years. While he doesn’t regret joining—or getting out—it wasn’t quite like the sci-fi adventure he’d pictured before signing up. Aaron started by training in the nuclear power field as a reactor operator and electronics technician and then moving (by more or less mutual agreement with his superiors) to the aviation field. There he worked on the avionics and weapon systems for the now retired (but still great!) F-14 Tomcat. There he met his lovely wife, Chrissie, and they now live in Middle Tennessee with their three children. He currently works in telecommunications as an electronics technician and practices the historical martial arts of Renaissance Europe with the ARMA. The Prophet A’Resh is Aaron’s first published novel. His first compensated publications were for gaming companies as background filler and characters for science-fiction settings. “I’ve written as a hobby for years but finally decided to see if I could create an enjoyable fantasy setting where heroes look to The Spirit instead of other spirits for power and strength,” Aaron says.
