Hilary Hamblin graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a degree in Journalism and served as the Executive Director of the Baldwyn Area Chamber of Commerce for five years. Her freelance articles have been published in HomeLife Magazine and the e-zine Women Today Magazine. Currently she works as a full-time mom to a very active one-year old son. As a summer missionary in Arizona, Hamblin spent several weeks in the Flagstaff area. A room she saw during her time there inspired The Color of Love. Hamblin, who has both a twin sister and an older sister, grew up in a small Mississippi town very much like Martha’s hometown of Mayer, Tennessee, where everyone knows everyone else.
