The Last of the Descendants

Richard Bell looks in his rearview mirror. The vehicle chasing him on the one-lane dark road is quickly gaining, and he pushes the gas pedal to its
limit.

Wesley Howard, a first-year seminary student in Washington, D.C., awakes to the jiggle of the doorknob in his campus apartment. Someone
slips a note under the door: They’re watching you Wesley.

Professor Martin Howard is awakened by a strange phone call from his son, Wesley. “You’re all I have left,” he says to the picture of him and
Wesley posing together. “They can’t take you from me. I don’t know how they found us, but I will give my life to protect you.”

Charles Prandy

Charles Prandy loves to write, especially page-turning suspense novels that explore the deeper meanings of God.He studied theology at Wesley Theological Seminary, where he came up with the idea for The Last of theDescendants. Martial Arts was an integral part of Charles’ life growing up, as can be evidenced in the novel with sword-wielding characters who will stop at nothing to either protect or destroy Wesley Howard. Charles’ late father’s Dominican heritage was also an inspiration to have part of the story in the Dominican Republic, where a lot of his family resides.
