Brian has a B.A. in English from the University of Alabama. “I’ve been a serious writer since high school—ever since one of my English teachers told me I have a talent to write and insisted I write a story for her,” Brian says. He enjoys writing, reading, serving his church, and training in various styles of martial arts.

“The inspiration for The Light-Bearer came from a wonderful retreat a few years ago,” Brian adds. “My hope is that readers will see themselves in some of Lucifer’s actions; that they will see how we all rebel against our Heavenly Father in small and big ways. But it is only as we accept God’s sovereignty and guidance that we can remain forever embraced by His Light.”
